Meter Reading

• Separate water meters are available for purchase at the VRUC office, separate water meters currently cost $90.00 (this price is subject to change without notice).
• The separate water meters are to be used for outdoor purposes only.  (i.e. watering flowers/lawns, washing cars, filling pools/hot tubs)
• Separate water meters can only be used April 15th to October 15th.  (Before using the separate water meter in April, it must be inspected/verified at the VRUC office.)
• Billing for usage when using a separate water meter - the usage on the separate water meter will be deduected from the sewer usage determined from the main meter reading.
• To ensure proper billing to include separate water meter usage, it is the customer's responsibility to report the meter reading from the separate water meter by the 15th of each month
